Baked Haddock-Melts in your mouth!

Don’t run away from this fish recipe! Trust me, I’m not a fish person but this recipe makes me look forward to fish! It’s so flaky, flavorful and easy, which is why I love making it for dinner parties. You prep it, stick it in the oven and enjoy spending time with your guests. No watching the grill or stove, and the taste of the fish will leave your guests thinking your a pro chef! A lot of times people run to steaks when hosting a dinner or anything else that’s normal for a fancy dinner but this will definatly be a dinner to remember!

Serving size: 4 people

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 fresh haddock fillets

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese

  • 2 1/2 tspn salt

  • 1/4 cup melted butter

  • Lemon wedges for serving

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees

  2. In a bowl combine the milk with the salt

  3. In another bowl combine the bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese

  4. After you washed and dried the haddock, dip it in the milk followed by the bread crumb mixture. Make sure the fish has a nice coating of the bread crumbs. Align the fish on a glass baking dish.

  5. Bake the fish for 15 minutes uncovered, or until the internal temperature of the fish reaches to 145 degrees.

  6. Serve it with a side of lemon wedges to give the fish an extra depth of flavor!

*DO NOT use frozen fillets for best results. Speaking from experience on this one, made it from fresh and made it from frozen, the frozen fish came out soggy.
